The Difference Between Booklets, Pamphlets, Flyers, Leaflets, and Brochures

A lot of people often get confused about the differences between booklets, pamphlets, flyers, brochures, leaflets, and handbills.

Flyers – or leaflets and handbills if you prefer to call them that – are single sheet print materials. The usual size for flyers intended for posting is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. Smaller sizes are far more common for flyers intended as handouts.

Brochures unbound, multi-page print  products. They’re normally created from single sheets and are often  folded to create bifolds, trifold, and so on. Producing folded brochures takes a bit more technical expertise than flyers, as the alignment of the folds and the proofing need to be precise in order to create a professional-quality product.

Booklets are always multi-sheet and always bound, usually with staples, saddle-stitching, Wire-O, or something similar. “Pamphlets” is a much looser definition – thet can either be bound or unbound. When unbound, they may be  single or multi-sheet and multipage.

  1. Nowadays business cards and brochure printing have become a style icon for business establishment and promotion. With the use of colored and designed cards it’s quite easy to pitch other. The card itself is worth enough to convey the complete image of the company. Give your business a new look with standard flyers printing and feel the difference.
